Ok so Welcome To Derry Episode 7 has one of the most horrifying moments ive seen on TV in a long long time. Fans of Stephen Kings book will know this is a major section outside of the Losers club story.

Told to us as Mikes father lies on his deathbed we learn its something he’s kept from his son for years and years. However its in his dying days he finally reveals the truth.

Now I know the phrase “the book was better” is often a term that gets banded around a lot. Films and TV shows just dont have the capacity to match the extensive amount of things you can put in a book. A novel allows you to hear characters thoughts and books arent really restricted by run time. Your imagination does a lot of the work too. Often youll imagine things a certain way and itll be far more vibrant than what someones able to pull off in real life. The actors arent how you imagine them, media is restricted by budget and yeah…it can be difficult for things to live up to it.
