Come with us to Thistle Hotel located at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
We paid just £66 for 1 night stay here. Thistle has direct links to the terminal via the Heathrow Pod which is charged at just £8 per person and will take you directly to the terminal.
This hotel is a very popular choice due to its very reasonable price and the fact it has 450 parking spaces.
The hotel has a great shop located within reception for all your needs including a travel section for any last minute bits before you fly.
For me the Aviator bar and restaurant was a gem with a sensational balcony area for viewing aircraft where you are able to see them land and take off right before your eyes. Food was brilliant quality and very fairly priced along with a great selection.
One thing you need to bear in mind is that the hotel has NO LIFTS. So if you are located on the 1st floor all your belongings need to be carried upstairs otherwise I would suggest requesting a ground floor room.
