Complete Amaal of the Day of Arafa (9th Zilhajj)

• Perform Ghusl

• Performing of salats of Zohr & Asr one after the other with one azan only.

• Recite a 2 rakat salaat after Asr under open sky.

[In the 1st rakat, after Sure Fatiha recite Sure Ikhlaas.
In the 2nd rakat, after Sure Fatiha recite Kaafiroon]

• Recite a 4 rakaat Salat in sets of 2 rakaat each.
In each rakat after Sure Fatiha, recite Sure Ikhlaas 50 times.

• Recite Ziyarat of Imam Hussain (as) for the day of Arafa.

• Recite the following tasbeehaat once:
"Glory be to He whose Arsh is in the heavens! Glory be to He whose Will operates in the earth! Glory be to He who examines (the dead) in the graves! Glory be to He who surfaced a path over the ocean! Glory be to He who has total control over the fire! Glory be to He who surrounds the Paradise with (His) mercy! Glory be to He who will do justice on the Day of Judgement! Glory be to He who raised the sky! Glory be to He who spread the earth! Glory be to He from whom there is no running away unless (one takes refuge) with Him."

• Recite 100 times
"SubhanAllahi walHamdo lilaahi wa laa ilaaha illallah wallaho Akbar"

• Recite Sure Ikhlaas 100 times
• Recite Ayatul Kursi 100 times
• Recite Salawaat 100 times
• Recite the following 100 times -

"Laa ilaaha ilallaho wah'dahu laa shareeka lahu lahul mulku wa lahulhamdo yuh'yi wa yumeetu wa yumeetu wa yuh'yi wa huwa h'ayyu la yamootu biyadihil khayr wa huwa A'laa kulle shay-in qadeer."

• Recite the following isteghfaar 10 times -
"Astaghfirullahal ladhi laa ilaaha illa huwal hayyul qayyoom wa atooboo ilayh"

• Say each of the following 10 times

یا الله....یا رحمان...یا رحیم....یا بدیع السماوات والارض یا ذالجلال والاکرام...یا حی یا قیوم...یا حننان یا مننان..یا لا الاه الا انت...آمین

• Then recite -
"O Allah I beseech Thee. O He who is nearer than my jugular vein. O He who intervenes between body and the soul. O He who is in the heavenly heights; and true horizons. O He who is Beneficient on the established Arsh. O He like unto whom there is nothing and He is Hearing, Seeing. I ask Thee to send blessing on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad."

(Now ask your hajat/wishes)

• Recite the Salawat advised by Imam Jaffer Sadiq (as)

• Recite the four glorifications which are composed from each of the tasbeehatul arbaa

• Dua of Imam Hussain (as) for the day of Arafa.

• Dua of Imam Ali ibn Hussain (as) for the day of arafa.

• Recite the dua "Yaa Shaahida kulle najwa..."
