In this video I show you how to get to Studlagil Canyon from Egilsstadir. Even though you might be coming from the other direction you can use a lot of the information in the video to find Studlagil in the easiest way.
Update: the parking lot that is closer to the canyon is finished
I start by driving road nr 1 from Egilsstaðir and then after some time I will turn on road nr 923. This also applies if you are coming from the north. Like mentioned in the video, the hike is 1 hour one way. Overall this is an easy hike with a man made path most of the way.
