This vlog was shot on 4th July 2024 covering areas in between Burawai and Fairy Meadows.

Description
In this vlog, the places we crossed are Besar, Babusar Top and Chilas and our end destination was Fairy Meadows.

Starting with Burawai, it is the last hill station before entering the Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park. At an altitude of 3200m, Burawai with very few options for accommodation and restaurant is the best place to stay after Battakundi and before Chilas.

Babusar Top is the most famous tourist attraction in this area. It is a pass joining Kaghan Valley with Chilas. Depending on the weather, it usually opens in June ehen the weather is hot. And it remains open till late October. Moreover, it is located at a height of 13,690ft and the view from top is amazing.

Chilas, definitely not a tourist attraction but a casual spot for tourists to stay. It comes in territory of Gilgit Baltistan and it is capital of Diamer Division and is strategically positioned along Indus River. And the temperature here is always high.

Raikot - Nothing of utomost importance but the road to fairy meadows diverge from here.

Tattu village- a small village in the way of fairy meadows. It has a small settlement of villagers and tourists are not allowed here.

Fairy meadows is one of the most beautiful places in the world. This green plateau below the enormous Nanga Parbat is a unique place in the world. Historically speaking, it was named after Herman Buhl (a german vlogger) and his campanions arrived here in 1950s called this place Märchenwiese which translates as “ Fairy Meadows”.

Best time to visit = April - October

Hiking part:
The trail is 5km long and has 700 metres of altitude gain. It almost took us 4.5 hours to hike(beginner level).
1. This first part of the track is somewhat easy and as you reach Midway hotel, you’re already done with halfway.
2. Almost an hour of hiking includes hiking/trekking through forest which is scary at night.
3. Last part of the hiking includes elevation more rapidly which takes an hour or so
