Shane Todd is a comedian, TV/radio presenter and actor from Holywood, Northern Ireland. He hosts the award-winning BBC Radio Ulster show Live at the Sunflower and The Shane Todd Show also for BBC NI. In 2016 he sold out Belfast’s Ulster Hall by himself, having previously supported American comedy megastar Bill Burr in the same venue.
Shane rapidly developing a huge following through his YouTube videos , his character North Down ‘celebrity’ Mike McGoldrick and through multiple stand-up comedy, TV and radio appearances, as well as his podcast The Shane Toddcast. He also co-hosts the cult Boy Town podcast. Shane has performed live in the UK, Ireland, France, Holland, USA and Canada. Last year he performed his first full UK and Ireland tour to rave reviews.
Filmed for 'Laughter in the Eyre' as part of #VCCG19, which was broadcast on RTÉ2 in January, 2020.
