Distortion is important. I, personally, think a good distortion is miles better than an equally good overdrive pedal and that may be in part because so many approaches to distortion can lack variety or nuance. We've all heard cheesy distortion, harsh distortion, or high gain pedals that just lack a sense of direction. Enter the Longsword; the most well balanced, versatile and, (most importantly) nuanced distortion I may have ever played. The Longsword can take your sound and give you more of it. It can also destroy your amp and replace it with a high gain monster you never thought it could be. So let's dig deep and see what makes the Longsword such a force to be reckoned with.
