ABOUT THIS VIDEO: I originally intended for this video to be a quick filler vlog in between the more elaborate documentaries. However as I was editing, I realized that this content warranted the full documentary treatment. It is an extremely important episode because its the first time I’ve had the chance to go in-depth and interview a former female street racer from the 90s.

And what’s more, this person was my student! I taught her when I was working at an English conversation school in Gunma. It turns out that many of the people I talk to who are from Gunma and in their 40’s and 50’s used to be part of the street racing culture of the 90’s!
