In this lesson we'll take a look at 3 phase transformers, electrical devices used to step up, step down, isolate, change the electrical configuration, and phase shift 3 phase AC voltage. Additionally, we'll learn to interpret standard 3 phase AC transformer naming conventions and take a look at simplified connection diagrams, displacement diagrams, and examine common Y, delta, and Z configurations.
