Among the many myths that float around about we bisexual folk, one I've found particularly prevalent is the idea that our sexuality changes depending on the gender of the person we're in a relationship with. Like, suddenly we become straight if we're with someone of the opposite sex, or we become gay when we're with someone of the same sex-- and when we decide to marry, well, we've finally "chosen a side." Well, I'm here to discuss why this myth is so problematic, and set the record straight (no pun intended) right here and now. :)
