For Week 5, I spent time at the park with a close friend, creating, talking, and letting things breathe. I celebrated another friend at Clifton’s in Los Angeles — one of those places that reminds you how important it is to gather, laugh, and be present.
There’s a small piece of myself woven into this episode — just a glimpse of what’s coming — because this season has been about creating honestly, not perfectly.
If you’re feeling called to slow down and create, here’s something you can try:
Park Art Reset Activity 🌿
Bring a playlist that matches what you’ve been feeling lately
Pick a few pastel colors that resonate with this season of your life
Choose a word (or words) that describe where you are right now
Use Watercolor Paper (can be purchased at Michael's)
Use a black crayon to write the word
Color over it with pastels
You can add something on top like Mod Podge— or leave it raw, like we did!
Sometimes the simplest things come out the coolest.
