Tools and Materials Required
Replacement display (compatible with realme GT Neo2)
Precision screwdriver set (Phillips #00)
Plastic spudger / pry tool
Suction cup
Tweezers
Hairdryer or heat gun (for softening adhesive)
Isopropyl alcohol (for cleaning old adhesive)
Double-sided adhesive tape or pre-cut adhesive (if required)
SIM ejector tool
Anti-static wrist strap (optional but recommended)
Step-by-Step Replacement Process
Turn Off the Device

Make sure the phone is powered off to prevent electrical damage.
Remove the SIM Card Tray

Use the SIM ejector tool to remove the SIM and SD card tray from the device.
Heat the Back Cover

Use a hairdryer or heat gun to warm the edges of the back cover. This softens the adhesive and makes it easier to remove.
Be careful not to overheat—aim for around 80°C (176°F).
Remove the Back Cover

Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly and insert a plastic pry tool or guitar pick into the gap.
Slowly work your way around the edges to release the clips. Go gently to avoid damaging the glass back panel.
Disconnect the Battery

Use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector on the motherboard.

Remove the Midframe Cover
