While riding through Italy on my Vespa, I discovered something truly special: a hidden garage filled with some of the rarest and most iconic Vespas in the world.
This place is called Vespazio, and it’s run by Luca – a collector and restorer who’s spent over 20 years finding and preserving these historic scooters. From the first Vespa 98 from 1946, to the Primavera #1, to a model that actually appeared in Quadrophenia and even a rare Allstate Vespa built for the American market — the collection is unreal.
We spent half a day exploring the garage, hearing the stories behind each bike, and then took a beautiful ride through the hills around Baiso to Pietra di Bismantova, where we shared a local lunch and even more Vespa stories.
This episode is a personal favorite from the trip — one that truly reminded me why I love Vespas in the first place.
