Welcome back to The Channel Droo.
In today's video, we are featuring footage from a recent trip down the rapids of the Gunnison Gorge, Colorado. The footage was taken via a GoPro camera, attached to our raft.
The video begins with our launch into the river. The surrounding area is typical of the Gunnison Gorge - rocky cliffs, sparse greenery. The calm water gradually grows rougher as we progress further into the gorge.
We encounter several rapids during the course of the journey, some larger than others. Notable moments include our navigation of the 'The Squeeze' and 'Boulder Garden'. The raft experiences considerable movement at these points.
The camera angle isn't optimal - we apologize for this. Despite the slight inconvenience, the footage still provides an overview of what one can expect while navigating these rapids.
