Good morning from Cog Hill Farm! 🌞 Brooke set out to do a simple morning routine—feed the animals, collect the eggs, and keep everyone happy—but farm life always finds a way to surprise us. What started with an unexpected car in the driveway quickly turned into a morning full of adventures: gates that wouldn’t latch, animals out of place, a garden spider giving quite the scare, and even a daring walk across our farm pond in chest waders to see just how deep (and sticky!) it really is.

Along the way, you’ll see Nugget the emu pacing the fence, Pocket sneaking in with the big horses, Peaches and the gang waiting for breakfast, and even some of the animals checking out the swimming pool. Brooke’s big test—walking across the pond—revealed just how soft and sandy the bottom really is and gave us a better idea of what it’ll take to seal it with clay.
