Prior to his appointment as IG, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi had garnered a wealth of experience in law enforcement, having previously served as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Operations in Lahore, a position where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic acumen.

Hailing from the esteemed 31st Common of the Pakistan Police Service, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi's illustrious career has seen him traverse the length and breadth of the nation, serving in various capacities from Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) to Superintendent of Police (SP), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Chief Police Officer (CPO), and DIG across nine districts of Punjab.

His dedication to duty has not been confined to a single province, as Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has also lent his expertise to different districts in Balochistan, showcasing his versatility and commitment to maintaining law and order across diverse landscapes.
