🌿 Step 1: Pine Tar Soap for Eczema Relief
I start with a fragrance-free pine tar soap, known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps relieve eczema itching and soothes dry, flaky patches especially during flare-ups. Pine tar has been used for centuries for psoriasis, eczema, and other inflammatory skin conditions.
💧 Step 2: Vinegar Bath (1x a Week)
Once a week, I soak in a diluted white vinegar bath to help balance my skin’s pH and gently reduce bacterial overgrowth which is often a hidden trigger for eczema. This helps calm itchy skin, reduce redness, and support the skin microbiome.
🍃 Step 3: Aloe Vera + Glycerin Barrier Boost
Post-shower, while my skin is still damp, I apply a thick layer of pure aloe vera gel mixed with vegetable glycerin. This combo deeply hydrates and soothes inflamed eczema-prone areas while locking in moisture.
💚Step 4: Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion
Lock all that goodness in with this dermatologist approved lotion. Excelled for healing skin barrier.
