CRAZY leightweight 2-in-1 FPV Camera for 65$ | Hawkeye Firefly Thumb 4K - Uncut Footage & Edits

How is this thing so cheap? I got mine for around 60-ish € with the ND Filter and I am impressed. It is far from perfect, but not that much ;)

Stabilised with GyroFlow 1.5.2 and Cut / Color Graded in the Free Version of Resolve 18.5. Thank You GyroFlow that you exists! haha ^^ and Blackmagic rocks! I wanna work (or sleep) my way up to get my hands on some of their cameras, editing gear and firstly a studio edition license haha

The Footage out-of-Camera was set to flat (which basically looks like the last crash clip with the Runcam Thumb v2) and I may have overdone the color a bit (banding and highlights/shadows) but I learn best from mistakes ^^

Also not bad considering I forgot to change the Settings (because it is kinda complicated) and this was with ISO locked at 200 + other things not set properly

Biggest downside with this thing is the wide FOV while flying since it uses the 4K image and just compresses it for the AV out. Can't really judge close distances and its weird to find my level again after flips since the horizon is kinda rounded? I don't know, but I'd wish that there was an option to crop into the image somehow and have a more "linear" feel while flying and capturing more off to the sides in the final 4K result if that makes sense?

I don't mind the lower res/quality that much. Latency is low enough to fly though sometimes it feels like it hitches a bit but I fly god damn analog, do I look like I care about the best image while flying? No. I care about how it feels to actually fly in the moment. And this camera is just enough for me.

Nothing is perfect but this small cute camera is fun.
