My Dell App Not Working - How to Fix?

Dell PCs come with a app called My Dell, which you can use to adjust things like power consumption and fan speed, et cetera. You may find that the app doesn't load and displays a message: "the application service must be started to run My Dell".

To fix this, go into "services" and look for the "fusion service" option and make sure the start-up type is set to automatic.

If you find that after restarting your PC the app keeps on disabling itself, this is most likely caused by optimisation software.
