ZEPBOUND WEEK 12 *Arm shot + weight update plus a bit of my backstory.

My name is Beth, I am 54 years old and I have struggled with my weight since my teens. I have been in full menopause since I was 42, I have PSA, OSA and several other health issues. I suffer from Alopecia but there is no definitive official dx on the why (still working on it).
I had sleeve gastrectomy 2015 after I was dx with type 2 diabetes. I had revision surgery due to complications in 2017 and now have a full bypass RNY. Although I had "success" in the weight loss area, it wasn't the lasting success I was hoping for. I truly STRUGGLED the whole time and beat myself up for not being able to do better even though I tried EVERYTHING and was super compliant with all they asked of me... and then some.
Zepbound is and has been a miracle for me. Shutting off a lot of the receptors that I now know were malfunctioning. I never used to feel full, sugar and carbs lit up my brain to want more and more, LOUD food noise and thoughts all the time... what a miracle to have that diminish and some days not be there. To feel full after a normal portion size is so great!!
I tell you all of this, so you know that you are not alone. There are lots of us out there that can relate. I just want to share my story in the hopes that it helps someone to have a small success, be kinder to themselves or not feel alone!
