I wasn’t expecting it, but Hawkeye kinda succeeded in becoming one of my favorite mcu show?? Right under wandavision! I just can’t believe it 😂

Well, what can I say about this video?
First, you need to know that Clintasha was one (along with kastle and peter/gwen) of my few fave het marvel ships and I will always be mad that they never canonized them (like they did in, you know, THE COMICS). But in this house we stan suffering, so in the end I didn’t mind that much hahaha 💖
Second, I started this video in june, after hearing this song (which I thought really suited them after what happened in endgame), hoping to see more flashback scenes of them in Black Widow. As you know, we didn’t exactly get them, so for a while I thought to not finish the project... and then hawkeye happened. And, pardon my french, I knew I was fucked: they fucking stuckied me! I can’t believe their audacity!
(to clarify: to me it means that both bucky & clint acted like some war widows who lost the love of their life during the war… which it’s actually quite accurate given the context)
Anyway, I was suffering (& laughing, thank you kate) during all of hawkeye, asking myself what they were thinking when they decided to give clint a wife (is she boby?? maybe laura is just her new name? who knows) when they had nat right there the whole time. URGH I want to punch whedon in the face (mostly for all the shit he did to nat in age of ultron, but I don’t want to start another rant)
So, I finished this video, and I’m actually quite satisfied with the result?? Unbelievable! 💖

A great inspiration from the “flashback” scene was the stunning video made by Lucy'sHeart (you can watch this beauty here:    • Clint + Natasha | Dynasty  ), which is still one of my favorite clintasha video ever, even after all these years.
Another big inspiration, especially for the parallel at 00:12 - 00:14 was this heartbreaking video of heavenlyfire (let’s all cry together watching it:    • Видео  )
And, since we’re here, if you love both clintasha & bishova I can’t not recommend one of my faves, made by the queen losjk (her audacity in making a masterpiece like this?? urgh:    • hawkeye & black widow | she made a differe...  )
Me? Falling into a spiral of clintasha video after hawkeye? More likely than you think 👀

I know many people hate clint, and I was one of them, mostly because of r*nner, and how he wasted all of clint potential, but I have to admit that I really re-evaluated him during hawkeye. I still don’t love him as I love other characters, but I don’t hate him anymore and I’m so happy him and yelena got a sort of “closure” (even if it will never be over for either of them, not really) since their scenee was really important to let them cope with nat’s death and helping them “move forward”
I also hope we’re gonna get more of him and kate (I really loved their interactions and how he was a good mentor/father figure to her), and especially of kate & yelena, in the future
