"The Fisherman" may have been the song that inspired me to pick up the guitar about 20 years ago, it is certainly one of the very first Leo Kottke songs I tried to learn. It's been a long journey since then. I transcribed this from the record My Feet Are Smiling.
I used one of my favorite guitars for this video, a pearl-trimmed 1936 Prairie State OM built by the Larson brothers. The guitar is in almost the same condition as it was when it left their shop a little over 80 years ago.
