MAN Race Truck vs Kamaz Dakar Truck - 1000+ HP Heavy Vehicles at Goodwood Festival of Speed!

The idea of ​​a virtual comparison challenge between the MAN Race Truck vs Kamaz Dakar Truck was too much fun, so I do it! Both heavy vehicles, equipped with over 1,000hp, run the uphill road at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Specifically, the truck driven by Ryan Smith, who takes part in the British Truck Championship and the FIA European Truck Championship develops the incredible power of 1.200hp and 5.500NM of torque! Thanks to a 13.000cc engine, equipped with a single turbo that allows an acceleration from 30km/h to 160km/h in just 6 seconds. Other impressive specs are the weight of about 5,500kg and the consumption of biodiesel, 100 litres per 100km! The maximum speed is electronically limited to 160 Km/h. The Kamaz vehicle, sponsored by Red Bull and driven by Russian champion Eduard Nikolaev, is a 10-ton Soviet truck powered by the 12.5-litre diesel engine that develops around 1.1250hp. With 4x4 traction, it can reach over 160km/h, and its base is the Kamaz 4326 chassis. Kamaz has a 16-speed ZF gearbox and has tanks that allow the storage of 1,000 litres of fuel.

L'idea di una sfida virtuale comparativa fra il MAN Truck da corse in pista ed il Kamaz che partecipa alle Dakar era troppo divertente per non essere fatta. Entrambi i veicoli pesanti, dotati di oltre 1.000cv hanno percorso il tratto in salita al Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019. Nello specifico il camion pilotato da Ryan Smith che prende parte al British Truck Championship ed al Fia European Truck Championship sviluppa l'incredibile potenza di 1.200cv e ben 5.500NM di coppia! Questo grazie ad un motore di 13.000cc, dotato di singolo turbo che permette un'accelerazione da 30 a 160km/h in soli 6 seconds. Altri dati impressionanti sono il peso di circa 5.500kg ed il consumo di biodiesel, 100 litri per 100km! La velicità massima è autolimitata elettronicamente a 160 Km/h. Il mezzo della Kamaz, sponsorizzato da Red Bull e guidato dal campione russo Eduard Nikolaev è un camion sovietico da 10 tonnellate, spinto dal motore diesel da 12.5 litri di cilindrata che sviluppa circa 1.1250cv. La trazione è trazione 4x4, può raggiungere oltre 160km/h ed è basato sul telaio Kamaz 4326. Monta un cambio ZF a 16 rapporti e possiede serbatoi che permettono l'immagazzinamento di 1.000 litri di carburante.
