Baba Noor Muhammad Sandhu left his village Khati near Phagwara at the time of India Pakistan partition when he was about 9 years old. Khatti is a village near Khurampur, Tehsil Phagwara, Kapurthala district, in Punjab, India.
Khatti is famous for the Mandir of Lord Parashurama and as such, there is a movement to declare Khatti a heritage village.
The Jayanti of Lord Parashurama is celebrated at the Mandir every year and is a big attraction.
Through YouTube and personal dedication, Desi Infotainer is preserving the stories of those who experienced the violence of Partition and helping families to reconnect.
We travel from village to village to collect these stories. we believe that there is a sea of forgotten tales which should be discovered.
