Описание:
The safety on this fuze is needed because to make it more sensitive you need to use a much weaker creep spring (Spring like in the 425). It would be too dangerous to just switch the spring in a 425 because dropping it could kill you. That combined with the free floating firing pin Made it a much better fuze, despite the possible risks from rough handling which could be minimized by not using any fuzes that were subject to dropping accidents.
