Khomas schools to release 2026 placement results in December - nbc

The |Khomas Education Directorate will release the complete placement results for the 2026 academic year between the 2nd and 11th of December.

The |Khomas Placement Committee says it carefully assessed all applications, taking into account factors including school preference, proximity and language of instruction.

Several schools have received an overwhelming number of applications, making it impossible to accommodate every learner at their preferred school.

However, the committee emphasised that fairness, accessibility and available capacity guided the final allocations.

Parents and guardians are requested to visit the schools where their children were placed, in person, to verify their placement and follow the respective admission procedures.

The directorate reminded parents that each school follows its own admission process, and they are encouraged to liaise directly with the schools for specific guidance.

Uniforms and stationery, the directorate stressed, should only be purchased once placement is confirmed by the school.

Placement lists will be available at the Teacher Resource Centre, the Khomas Regional Office in the Dr. Frans Indongo Building and at both the learners' current school and where they received placement.

The public is urged to remain patient as the remaining placements are processed.

Parents whose children do not appear on the list are advised to visit the Khomas Regional Office, on the 7th Floor, by 7 December.
