Definitely picked my way through this one! Check out my first ride on the Stone Age trail in Duluth. This video shows the way in which I approach trails that are a little beyond my skill level, which Stone Age certainly is. I take this one slow, stopping to check out lines, re-riding challenging sections, or just walking over sections that are too tough.
This short (only 1 mile long!) but extremely technical trail will challenge even the most advanced riders. The jank is real here, with rock gardens, steep, rocky climbs, rowdy downhill sections with mandatory drops, and rock slabs galore.
The climb up from the DWP trail is arduous, with many very demanding technical climbing sections. Up top on the rock slabs the view is incredible. The downhill section is chunky, pounding through old pine forests until you meet back up with the DWP trail.
