Play is the heart of early childhood and an invaluable tool for assessment. CalECSE Assessment Practices Exemplar Lead and Speech Language Pathologist Linsey Sandrew and Licensed Educational Psychologist Carrie Rodrigues hosted an engaging no-cost virtual session exploring the power of play-based assessments, which looked at play behaviors across neurotypical and neurodivergent children.
