В этой серии God of War (2018) Кратос и Атрей поднимаются к вершине горы, где их ждёт неожиданная встреча. Здесь они находят Мимира — мудрейшего из живущих, заточённого в древо по воле Одина. Чтобы прекратить его мучения и получить помощь, Кратосу приходится отрубить ему голову.

Герои отправляются к ведьме за помощью, и там раскрывается тайна: ведьма оказывается самой богиней Фреей. Она оживляет голову Мимира, и тот становится проводником Кратоса и Атрея к Йотунхейму. Но прежде, чем отправиться дальше, им предстоит подготовиться к новому этапу пути.

In this episode of God of War (2018), Kratos and Atreus climb to the top of a mountain, where they meet unexpectedly. Here they find Mimir, the wisest of the living, imprisoned in a tree by the will of Odin. To end his torment and get help, Kratos has to cut off his head.

The heroes go to the witch for help, and there the secret is revealed: the witch turns out to be the goddess Freya herself. She revives Mimir's head, and he becomes Kratos and Atreus' guide to Jotunheim. But before they go any further, they will have to prepare for a new stage of the journey.
