আহমেদ সেনজার ছিলেন খোরাসান এর বিখ্যাত সেলজুক সুলতান । ১০৯৫ সালে আহমেদ সেনজার খোরাসানের সিংহাসনে আরোহন করেন এবং ১১১৮ সাল পর্যন্ত দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। পরবর্তীতে তিনি সেলজুক সাম্রাজ্যের সুলতান হয়েছিলেন এবং মৃত্যুর আগ পর্যন্ত তিনি সিংহাসনে অধিষ্ঠিত ছিলেন। ১০৯৬ সালে তাকে সুলতান মালিক শাহ খোরাসানের আমির হিসেবে নিযুক্ত করেন। খোরাসান একটি আঞ্চলিক প্রদেশ হওয়া সত্ত্বেও আহমেদ সেনজার তার ভাইয়ের মৃত্যুর পর স্বাধীনভাবে রাজ্য পরিচালনা করতে শুরু করেন।
