We were lucky to spot an elephant and deer, making the drive even more thrilling.

After crossing into Kerala, we finally reach Wayanad, a peaceful hill station known for its misty landscapes, forests, and rich history. Post check-in, we indulge in authentic Kerala food, tasting traditional dishes packed with spices and local flavors — a must-try experience for every traveler visiting Kerala.

To end the day on a high note, we explore the legendary Edakkal Caves, one of the most fascinating historical sites in Wayanad. The short trek to the caves is adventurous, and the ancient prehistoric carvings and rock engravings inside the caves offer a glimpse into human civilization from thousands of years ago. The views from the top are absolutely worth the climb.
