場所は、京都府伏見区・深草にある大岩山の山中に佇み、北に上がれば “お稲荷さん” で親しまれる伏見稲荷大社があります。
創建については、江戸時代の山火事で古文書が焼失したため不明となっていますが、山頂付近の大岩・小岩を御神体の男神・女神とする、古代の神祀りの名残のある神社とされています。
昭和初期には、結核の治癒に効験があるとして信仰を集め賑わっていたようですが、現在はその面影はほとんどなく神主不在という事もあり、台風や老朽化の影響で徐々に倒壊が進んでいます。

This is a 4k video of a walk around Oiwa Shrine in Kyoto, which is often referred to as an alien world or a power spot.
Located in Fukakusa, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, in the mountains of Mt. Oiwa, it is south of the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine, popularly known as "Oinari-san".
The date of its founding is unknown due to a forest fire during the Edo period that destroyed old documents, but it is said to be a remnant of an ancient Shinto ritual in which male and female deities were deified on rocks of various sizes near the summit of the mountain.
In the early Showa period (1926-1989), the shrine was believed to be effective against tuberculosis, and for a time gained popularity. Today, however, there are few signs of its former glory, and the shrine is gradually being destroyed by typhoons and aging, partly due to the absence of a chief priest.
