Brake Failure

After fixing my Skoda Yeti's Jerking problem as in Part 1 I though everything was going well.
The week before I was supposed to drive to England the brake fluid warning light came on and brake peddle was softer.
After checking the reservoir I noticed a leak around the rear right brake and that's when
the trouble started...


1. Brake Fluid Reservoir - Open Cap
2. Remove Wheel - Trolly jack to remove wheel
3. Loosen Bolts - WD40 to loosen two calliper bolts
4. Hose Clamp Tool - Clamp brake hose
5. Brake Calliper - Compare calliper is correct size
6. Clean - Brush off dust
7. Loosen Bolts - With 2 spanners loosen top and bottom
8. Brake Hose - Remove brake hose clip
9. Brake Hose - Unbolt the brake hose
10. Remove Calliper Bolts - Remove top and bottom bolts
11. Brake Calliper - Lever the calliper off
12. Clean - Brush off dust
13. Disconnect Handbrake - Detach handbrake cable from calliper
14. Reconnect Handbrake - Attach cable on new calliper
15. Copper Grease - Apply grease to holding bracket only
16. Brake Pads - Install the brake pads and calliper
17. Brake Calliper - Insert calliper bolts and tighten
18. Brake Hose - Feed hose through bracket and clip in
19. Brake Hose - Connect the short brake pipe
20. Brake Hose Clip - Insert the hose bracket clip
21. Brake Hose - Remove brake hose clamp
22. Bleed Bottle - Attach bleed pipe to bleed nipple
23. Bleed Nipple - Open bleed nipple
24. Pump Brake Peddle - Until no air bubbles visible in pipe
25. Bleed Nipple - Close bleed nipple
26. Bleed Nipple Cap - Replace the bleed nipple rubber cap
27. Clean & Inspect - Clean and inspect for leaks
28. Brake Fluid - DOT 4, Note the fluid level and top up
