This report was first broadcast on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation [ABC] TV program 7:30, on 17th October 2019. Reported by Caro Meldrum-Hanna, produced by Amy Donaldson, edited by Fred Shaw and presented by Leigh Sales.
This original program contained significant depiction of acts of cruelty and the slaughter of animals which many viewers would find devastating. For this reason, many people avoided the program.
I believe it is such animal lovers who need to understand the remaining context of discussion contained in the program. For this reason, I have edited the video and sound to remove all visual references to the perpetrated acts of cruelty along with any of the accompanying audio.
What remains is all other elements of the report, so that you the viewer can understand the nature and context of the report without concern of exposure to the gratuitous acts of cruelty that were depicted in the original broadcast.
