'Sinatra Sings Great Songs From Great Britain' is an album by Frank Sinatra, arranged by Robert Farnon, and recorded in London in June 1962. It was the only studio album he recorded outside of the United States.
"Roses Of Picardy" was recorded for the album on June 13, 1962 but was not released until years later. The singing on this take #1 is good enough to be the record. For some reason, however, Sinatra was not satisfied until take #6, the eventual released version.
