I am so happy to be able to do a video on my favorite phonics curriculum, Explode The Code!
You may wonder why I have a lot of these books with me. I found them as a set on a Facebook group. The person was selling these set for only $30! Can you believe that?! I didn’t hesitate to buy these from her, it was such a great deal.

Now let’s jump in into the Explode The Code Series.

Explode The Code has 3 series.

1. Primer Set for Pre-K

Get Ready for the Code A
( consonants b, f, m, k, r and t)
Get Set for the Code B
( consonants p,j,h,s,n and d)
Get Go for the Code C
(Consonants c,l,g,w,y,v,z, and q)

2. Explode The Code Grades 1-4
Book 1
(Consonant pretest, short vowels)
Book 2
(Initial consonant blends, final consonant blends)
Book 3
(One-syllable words ending in a long vowel)
Book 4
( Compound words)
Book 5
( words families all-alk, old-lot-oll etc..)
Book 6
( Vowel plus, diphthongs)
Book 7
(soft c and g, silent consonants)
Book 8
(Suffixes and endings)

(Explode The Code series has book that are called 1/2 . They are upto book 6. They are practice books if your child needs more help with phonics, reading, spelling)

3. Beyond The Code
Books 1-4 Comprehension and reasoning skills.
