Russia DM Shoigu inspects Russian troops in Ukraine, presents state awards to soldiers.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected the Vostok group of troops in the area of the special military operation in Ukraine, the ministry reported on Saturday.

According to the video published by the Defense Ministry, Shoigu visited the command post in the south Donetsk direction, where the group commander reported to him on the current situation.

It was not clear when the trip took place.

During his visit, Shoigu presented state awards to soldiers.
