555 Timer Music Instrument How to Make

How to make a music instrument or keyboard using a 555 timer chip, a piece of paper and a pencil. This goes step-by-step, starting with the circuit diagram for putting it all on a breadboard. The other parts are resistors, capacitors, batteries, a piezo speaker and some wire. The piezo speaker is a piezo buzzer from an electronics store like Radio Shack. The pencil is used for its graphite to make a variable resistor on the paper that acts as our piano keyboard.

The music I played on the 555 timer instrument was Greensleeves.
