This Scammer meets my Barrister! A Volcano Erupts!

A Scammer contacted me, pretending to be a Mr Samuel Chidi, the managing director of an international courier in his country. He claimed to have an ATM card to dispatch to me loaded with $8.3 million dollars! He originally demanded a fee from me of £85 GBP but when he realised Pricky was a gullible old man, he quickly increased it to £1000 GBP!

For fun, I told Samuel that another Scammer had been in touch with me… a Barrister Kofi Mensah from Ghana, who had told me that Samuel was working for him and that I should instead send the money to Ghana and increase it from £1000 GBP to £1850 GBP.

This made Samuel extremely nervous about his scam working on me.

They want to steal our life savings, regardless of the misery they would leave behind. We raise - and dash - their expectations, waste their time, which they would otherwise be using to find real victims, and cause them a little well-deserved disappointment.
