Meet Boaz Blume - Ambassador of the 54th Poetry International Festival Rotterdam!
Boaz Blume is a member of the deaf poets' collective Kitchen's Light and performs his own work in Dutch Sign Language. His performances have been seen at Bijlmer Boekt (Bijlmerparktheater Amsterdam), the opening of the 2021 cultural season Rotterdam (Rotterdamse Schouwburg), Poetry International 2022 (Lantaren-Het Venster, Rotterdam) and in the short film Imaginings. He has also performed with spoken word artist Elten Kiene, who, as a workshop teacher, founded the Kitchen's Light Group. In daily life, Boaz teaches Dutch Sign Language.
