In and out of TROUBLE with FES, twice! | Schempp-Hirth Discus 2c FES

I had the pleasure to test the wonderful Schempp-Hirth Discus 2c FES from Hahnweide lately. The FES, for Front Electric Sustainer, is an electricly powered propellor at the nose of the glider. The operation, as you can see, is very and quick and can help you out of trouble. In this video you'll see two instances where a bit of FES-ing helped my to another thermal.
