Throw away those tedious pattern buttonhole guides! Customize your own buttonhole placement in less time and with more freedom! You'll be able to use any size buttons and still get perfect results - in just minutes!
1) Determine the finished length of your buttonhole
2) After trying on your garment to determine precise bust line, place first buttonhole marking there
3) Moving upwards towards neckline, determine spacing of next 1 (or 2, if applicable) buttons. Mark buttonhole. Distance between buttonholes is your spacing.
4) Mark all other buttonholes in order, spacing them according to your determined distance.
With this method, you can have perfect results for each individual garment and use any buttons you choose.
