On this fifth day of Navaratri, the Divine Mother is honored by the name Lalita, the embodiment of beauty. That Shakti that is present in everything in the universe in this form.
Divine Mother cannot be understood by the rational mind, which is only at the 'gate' of devotion. She can only be felt when the mind is tired and the heart opens. Navaratri is a celebration of this love and devotion that transcends the mind.
Our meditation for the day is on sweetness in the heart and golden light. Maha Lakshmi, sits on the lotus of the heart. When the heart is open with love, one radiates happiness and attracts all forms of wealth and goodness.
