There's tech and there's mining and, for many investors, the twain shall never meet.
But one company, BQE Water (TSXV:BQE), is using tech to improve the mining industry.
Noting that 90% of all mineral processing happens in water, Executive Chairman Peter Gleeson says BQE improves the mining industry by getting rid of things like tailings ponds.
Instead, BQE Water invests in innovation and has developed its own intellectual property, already commercialized at mine sites around the world for organizations including Glencore, Jiangxi Copper, Freeport-McMoRan and the US EPA.
Gleeson sat down with Jon Erlichman at The 2025 Cantech Investment Conference to go into more detail.
