Cared vs. Uncared Chayote – You’ll Be Surprised!
🌱 Does chayote really need care to grow well?
In this video, I carried out a small but interesting experiment: growing two #chayote plants using two completely different approaches. One plant was grown in loose soil, watered regularly, fertilized on schedule, and carefully taken care of from sprouting to climbing the trellis. And the other? It was simply placed in a pot of soil... and left there — no watering, no fertilizing, no attention at all.
My goal is to discover whether dedicated care really makes a noticeable difference, or if chayote is a low-maintenance plant that can still grow well when neglected. This video will show you the contrast between “thoughtful gardening” and “just planting and walking away,” and maybe it’ll even get you thinking about how you care for your own garden.
