Today's hike was up to the trig point of Belmore Mountain, but instead of retracing our route, we went straight on towards Lough Nagor, through some deep forest and picked up the forest roadway again. From there we circled round the mountain ridge getting some spectacular views of Fermanagh, before returning back to our starting point.
Andrea was not with me today, but I was joined by fellow parkrunners, Donal and Rory, who both brought their dogs, Freddie and Benji. The dogs got on well except at our lunch break when they had a few friendly fights with each other. There was a lot of craic and banter on this walk but we all seems to enjoy ourselves basking in the sub tropical temperatures!! Enjoy!!
