Why Did This "Simple" Game Take Me Almost a Year to Make?

After months of silence, I'm finally back with a long-overdue update on Flutter Plane and what's been happening with Neon Dream Games. The Steam page is officially live, and while this game was supposed to be a quick project to complete in just a few months, it's turned into something much longer. In this devlog, I talk about where the game is at, the menu systems I rebuilt from scratch, the final polish that's taking forever, and why I'm still committed to finishing this thing even if it takes me into next year.
