Early morning - 330am of 17 November a truck driving westbound on Durham St near Rankin St, has veered off-road and struck a power pole.
The pole was snapped and major damage to the power lines, the pole and the truck.
No one was injured in the accident.
1100 people were without people for a few hours, while Essential Energy restored about 900 of those, with others off until 4pm that afternoon
One lane was closed off to traffic and some diverted around the area .
