TNRで大変お世話になっている動物病院のインスタで目に留まったのが、この子たち長一くんと長介くんでした。あまりにも可愛くて我慢できず、DMを送って描かせていただいた作品です。
なかなか里親さんが見つからないと聞き、少しでも力になれればという思いもありましたが、幸いほどなくしてご縁がつながり、今は「風（ふう）くん」と「雷（らい）くん」という新しい名前をもらい、たくさん可愛がっていただいているそうです🥰
今回は元気いっぱいに動き回る動画から切り取って制作したので、細かい部分は苦労もありましたが、柔らかな色鉛筆で油絵のような質感を意識しながら楽しく描きました。
あまりに可愛いかったので遊び心でリボンも添えてみたのですが…どうでしょうか？🌝
I first noticed these kittens, Choichi and Chosuke, on the Instagram of the animal hospital that has been a great support for me with TNR. They were just too adorable to resist, so I sent a DM and asked if I could draw them.
At the time, I heard they were having trouble finding adopters, and I hoped my artwork might help in some small way. Fortunately, before long they found a loving home, and now they’re called Fū and Rai, receiving plenty of love and care.
Since they were so energetic in the video I used as reference, it was a bit challenging to capture the details, but I truly enjoyed creating this piece—using soft colored pencils with a painterly, oil-like texture.
And because they were just too cute, I couldn’t resist adding little ribbons for a playful touch. 🌝
