Thank You for Joining Us at the 28th ITBC AGM & Indigenous Tourism Gathering!

Indigenous Tourism British Columbia (ITBC) extends heartfelt gratitude to a record-breaking 135 Indigenous tourism operators, First Nations community members, partners, and allies who joined us for the 28th ITBC Indigenous Tourism Gathering and Annual General Meeting, held November 12–14, 2025, at Ch’elxwa7elch (Coal Harbour) on the shared Traditional Territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

This year’s theme, The Future is Indigenous, guided three days of meaningful conversations, learning, cultural exchange, and connection. Our sincere thanks to all speakers and moderators for sharing their expertise, insights, and inspiring stories that made the Gathering truly impactful.

“This year’s Gathering reminded us of the power of coming together, our shared vision, our resilience, and the incredible potential of Indigenous-led tourism across BC. When we gather in community, we move forward together,” ITBC Chair Brenda Baptiste shares.

We also warmly welcome ITBC’s newly elected Board Members to the House of Tyee and extend our appreciation to our returning Directors for their continued leadership, as well as the outgoing Board Members for their service and contributions.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Gathering a success. Your engagement and support continue to strengthen Indigenous tourism across the province, and we’re excited for the path ahead.
